Innovation, Experience Economy and Event Management (Denmark)

General Program Outline

The program is offered to the CCID member college students as a collaborative effort between CCID, Roskilde Business College and the participating US colleges.

The students who apply for this program will spend two weeks in the town of Roskilde, about 1 hr. train ride from Copenhagen, capital city of Denmark.

The objective is to be involved in a team work while developing a plan for the production and management of an experiental event for the local and out-of-town community.

Tuition: Cost of 2 or 3 credits at a participating college
Scholarships: Participating colleges award scholarships (up to $750.00 per student) to qualified students. Please contact your college instructor (below) on how you qualify and apply for a scholarship.

Eligibility: Participants must:
  • be 18 years of age or older.
  • be in good standing with home college.
  • demonstrate college-level reading, writing, and math skills.
  • be prepared and motivated for a cross-cultural experience.
Delivery Formats: Fieldwork, team work, independent study.

February 4, 2011 -
Completed online application (1), instructor- and student- signed Waiver Form (2), and a $200 non-refundable deposit (3) are all due to CCID to be considered for a program.


March 18, 2011 -
Payment of program fee is due in-full to qualify for placement in program.
