SURVEY OVERVIEW
The University of Toledo and the
Community Colleges for International Development created a partnership to examine the internationalization
experience of community college students.
Staff members from both organizations came
together to create the UT-CCID Internationalization Research Group, and created the Community College Student Internationalization Experience
Survey.
SURVEY OBJECTIVES
The survey is designed to achieve several purposes,
including:

Documenting the internationalization experiences of students

Exploring the relationship between these internationalization experiences and the internationalization outcomes included on the survey instrument

Using the survey data to document college progress in comprehensive internationalization using CCID’s Comprehensive Framework for Internationalization.
SURVEY FEATURES
The survey gathers information from all international and domestic students attending the college in a particular semester/quarter.
The information gathered includes:
- Demographic Information
- Prior internationalization experiences
- Current curricular and co-curricular
internationalization experiences - Internationalization outcomes
- Local-option questions provided by the
participating community college
